dc.description.abstract	Ο χρόνος κοστίζει. Η αδράνεια γεννά ενοχή. Η απουσία προγράμματος προκαλεί στρες. Αυτό το έργο επιχειρεί να μιλήσει για την αμηχανία που νιώθουμε όταν δεν είμαστε παραγωγικοί. Σκηνοθετώ ένα χώρο οργανωμένο, βγαλμένο από την καθημερινότητα. Κάθομαι αργά στην καρέκλα του γραφείου Αφαιρούμαι γρήγορα Κοιτάω την ώρα.. είναι πέντε Να είμαστε απλά παρόντες στο χώρο και το χρόνο, δεν μπορεί αυτό να είναι το έργο; Σε προσκαλώ να ξοδέψεις λίγα λεπτά εδω. Δε θα συμβεί τίποτα. Με το παραπάνω συνοδευτικό κείμενο του έργου καλώ τον/την θεατή να είναι αργός/ή, να κωλυσιεργήσει, σε μια πραγματικότητα που όλα είναι γρήγορα και λειτουργούν βάση προγράμματος, σε μια πραγματικότητα όπου κάθε λεπτό μετράει και πρέπει να είσαι αποδοτικός/ή. Ωστόσο ο κόσμος γύρω μας παραμένει απρόβλεπτος και μέσα στο χάος του απολαυστικός. Η δουλειά μου έχει ως αφετηρία μια ανάγκη αντίστασης στον επιβεβλημένο ταχύ ρυθμό της καθημερινότητας. Ξεκινάει από τα βίντεο όπου σκηνοθετώ άτομα σε εργασιακούς χώρους να κάνουν κάτι μη παραγωγικό. Εικαστική μου αναφορά γι αυτά τα βίντεο αποτελούν οι μινιμαλιστικές αφηγήσεις της κινηματογραφίστριας Chantal Akerman. Εξελίσσοντας το έργο μου θέλησα απέναντι από τα βιντεο να στήσω μια μικρή εγκατάσταση σκηνογραφώντας ένα εργοτάξιο το οποίο περικλείει ένα καλά οργανωμένο γραφείο, πάνω από αυτό κρέμεται ένα γκρίζο βαρύ σύννεφο. Το γραφείο λειτουργεί ως σύμβολο μιας πραγματικότητας που φτιάχνουμε ώστε να νιώθουμε αποδοτικοί/ές ενώ το εργοτάξιο ως σύμβολο της ζωής που συνεχίζεται. Δίνω τη δυνατότητα στον/στην θεατή να μπει σε αυτό το χώρο, να κάτσει στην καρέκλα του γραφείου και από εκεί να “χαζέψει” τα βίντεο. Προσεγγίζω το θέμα με χιούμορ και υπερβολή ώστε ο/η θεατής να νιώσει οικεία ανακαλύπτοντας στοιχεία του δικού του βιωματος.
dc.description.abstracttranslated	Time is money. Inactivity breeds guilt. The absence of schedule is stressing us out. This work attempts to speak about the discomfort we feel when we are not productive. I am designing an organized setting, inspired from daily life. I slowly sink in the office chair My mind quickly wonders I look at the time…it’s five Being present in the moment, can’t this be the very material of the work? I invite you to spend a few minutes here. Nothing is going to happen. Through the above accompanying text of my work, I invite the viewer to slow down, to procrastinate—within a reality where everything moves fast and operates on a strict schedule, a reality where every minute counts and one must always be productive. And yet, the world around us remains unpredictable—and, in its chaos, delightful. This work begins from a personal need to resist the imposed speed of everyday life. It starts with a series of videos in which I stage people in work environments doing something non-productive. A strong visual and conceptual reference for these videos is the minimalist storytelling of filmmaker Chantal Akerman. As the project evolved, I wanted to set up a small installation opposite the videos: a construction site surrounding a neatly organized office desk, above which hangs a heavy grey cloud. The desk functions as a symbol of the reality we build in order to feel productive, while the construction site symbolizes life that continues regardless. The viewer is invited to enter this space, sit at the desk chair, and from there "zone out" while watching the videos. I approach the theme with humor and exaggeration, so that the viewer may feel at ease and recognize fragments of their own experience within it.	en

dc.description.cv	Ονομάζομαι Θεοδοσιάδου Στέλλα. Γεννήθηκα και μεγάλωσα στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Από το 2004 έως το 2011 σπούδασα Οικονομικά στο Πανεπιστήμιο Μακεδονίας της Θεσσαλονίκης και έπειτα έως το 2018 εργάστηκα σε αυτό τον τομέα. Το 2019 εισήχθη στην Ανώτατη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών, όπου τα δύο πρώτα χρόνια ήμουν στο Β’ Εργαστήριο Ζωγραφικής με καθηγητή τον Γιώργο Χαρβαλιά. Το 2025 αποφοίτησα από τη σχολή από το Η’ Εργαστήριο Ζωγραφικής με επιβλέπων καθηγητή τον Ζάφο Ξαγοράρη. Κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών μου παρακολούθησα τα εργαστήρια φωτογραφίας, βίντεο και ψηφιδωτού. Το βίντεο έγινε το μέσο της δουλείας μου ενώ παράλληλα ασχολήθηκα με το χώρο ως μια προσπάθεια να εντάξω τον/την θεατή σε αυτόν. Το εργαστήριο μου έδωσε την ευκαιρία να συμμετέχω σε δύο ομαδικά πρότζεκτ: το ένα πραγματοποιήθηκε στην Ελευσίνα με τιτλο “Alfagomma Italy” σε συνεργασία με τη σχολή καλών τεχνών HFG Offenbach της Φρανκφούρτη και το άλλο στο Ρέθυμνο, στο πλαίσιο των αρχαιολογικών διαλόγων, με θεματικη το θραύσμα. Ολοκληρώνοντας πλέον τις σπουδές μου στόχος μου είναι να εξελίξω τη δουλειά μου με ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον στη σκηνοθεσία, την κινησιολογία και τις πρακτικές της περφόρμανς. --- My name is Stella Theodosiadou. I was born and raised in Thessaloniki. From 2004 to 2011, I studied Finance at the University of Macedonia, and subsequently worked in the field until 2018. In 2019, I was admitted to the Athens School of Fine Arts, where for the first two years I attended the 2nd Painting Studio under the guidance of professor Giorgos Charvalias. In 2025, I graduated from the 8th Painting Studio, supervised by professor Zafos Xagoraris. During my studies, I also attended courses in photography, video, and mosaic. Video became the primary medium of my artistic practice, while I simultaneously explored spatial interventions as a way to invite the viewer into the work. Through my studio, I had the opportunity to participate in two group projects: one in Elefsina titled “Alfagomma Italy,” in collaboration with the HfG Offenbach School of Fine Arts in Frankfurt, and another in Rethymno, as part of the “Archaeological Dialogues,” focused on the theme of the fragment. Having now completed my studies, my goal is to further develop my artistic practice, with a particular interest in directing, movement, and performance-based approaches.
