Abstract
Στο έργο μου αποδίδεται η δημιουργία ενός υποθαλάσσιου κόσμου βγαλμένου από την φαντασία μου. Έχω συνδέσει το βυθό που όλοι έχουμε στο μυαλό μας ως σκοτάδι, άγνωστο και φόβο, με τη σιωπή, την εσωτερική ηρεμία, την γαλήνη και την εξερεύνηση. Με γοητεύει αυτή η αντίθεση των συναισθημάτων που σου δημιουργεί. Εδώ όμως το σκοτάδι απομακρύνεται από αυτόν και το νερό γίνεται λευκό, λειτουργώντας σαν ένας άγνωστος ανοιχτός χώρος. Με τον τρόπο αυτό επιχειρώ να αναδείξω πως το άγνωστο δεν είναι πάντα απαραίτητο να ταυτίζεται με το σκούρο μπλε που όλοι έχουμε συνηθίσει.
Abstract in english
My work depicts the creation of an underwater world drawn from my imagination. I have associated the depths of the sea, which we all have in our minds as darkness, the unknown, and fear, with silence, inner peace, tranquility, and exploration. I am fascinated by this contrast of emotions it evokes. Here, however, the darkness is removed from it and the water turns white, acting as an unknown open space. In this way, I attempt to highlight that the unknown does not always necessarily have to be identified with the dark blue we are all used to.

Γεννήθηκα στην Αθήνα και φοίτησα στην Ανωτάτη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών Αθηνών. Το κύριο μέσο της καλλιτεχνικής μου έκφρασης είναι η ζωγραφική με ξυλομπογιά, μέσα από την οποία δημιουργώ και εξερευνώ φανταστικούς υποθαλάσσιους κόσμους. Πλάθοντας τους δικούς μου, μοναδικούς βυθούς, προσκαλώ τον θεατή να καταδυθεί σε ένα νέο, ατμοσφαιρικό περιβάλλον. Παράλληλα με το σχέδιο, η πρακτική μου επεκτείνεται στην τέχνη της κεραμικής, με την οποία ήρθα σε επαφή κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών μου και την οποία εξέλιξα περαιτέρω δουλεύοντας ως μαθητευόμενος σε επαγγελματικό εργαστήρι κεραμικής, παντρεύοντας έτσι τη ζωγραφική λεπτομέρεια με την πλαστικότητα της ύλης.

I was born in Athens and studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts. The main medium of my artistic expression is colored pencil drawing, through which I create and explore imaginary underwater worlds. By shaping my own unique seabeds, I invite the viewer to dive into a new, atmospheric environment. Alongside drawing, my practice extends to the art of ceramics, which I was introduced to during my studies and further developed by working as an apprentice in a professional ceramics studio, thus marrying painterly detail with the plasticity of the material.
