Abstract
Οι Πτυχώσεις είναι μια εικαστική προσέγγιση που εξερευνά τη σχέση ανάμεσα στην ύλη και το νόημα. Tα έργα αποτυπώνουν τη στιγμή όπου το ορατό μετατρέπεται σε αίσθηση, και το υλικό αποκτά συμβολική διάσταση. Η πτύχωση δεν είναι μόνο χειρονομία της ύλης, αλλά και διαδικασία σκέψης. Αναδιπλώνει το ορατό και το αόρατο, αποκαλύπτοντας τη λεπτή ισορροπία ανάμεσα στη μορφή και την αίσθηση, στην ύλη και τη μνήμη, δημιουργώντας ένα πεδίο που ισορροπεί ανάμεσα στο αφαιρετικό και στο υπαινικτικό. Το μεγάλο μέγεθος ενισχύει την εμπειρία, ο θεατής δεν το «κοιτάει απλώς» αλλά μπαίνει μέσα σε αυτό. Τα έργα δεν προτείνουν μία ερμηνεία, αλλά ανοίγουν χώρο για πολλές. Προσκαλούν τον θεατή να σταθεί, να παρατηρήσει, να αφουγκραστεί — να ανακαλύψει κάτι δικό του μέσα στις πτυχές τους.
Abstract in english
Foldings is a visual approach that explores the relationship between matter and meaning. The works capture the moment when the visible turns into sensation, and the material acquires a symbolic dimension. The folding is not only a gesture of matter, but also a process of thought. It folds together the visible and the invisible, revealing the delicate balance between form and feeling, between matter and memory, creating a field that balances between the abstract and the suggestive. The large scale enhances the experience — the viewer does not simply “look at it” but enters into it. The works do not propose a single interpretation, but open space for many. They invite the viewer to pause, to observe, to listen — to discover something of their own within their folds.

Brief Bio
Η Λένα Δουρμούσογλου γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1997. Αποφοίτησε από το Εικαστικό Τμήμα της Ανωτάτης Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών, στο ΣΤ’ Εργαστήριο Ζωγραφικής. Έχει αποκτήσει Πτυχίο Επαγγελματικής Κατάρτισης στη Διδασκαλία Χορού από την International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA). Ασχολείται με τα εικαστικά και την Performance.
