dc.description.abstract	Σύμφωνα με το μεθοδολογικό σκεπτικό της εργασίας, κάθε τόπος, ως υλικός χώρος αλλά και σύνολο εμπειριών, κανόνων, ρουτίνων και σχέσεων μπορεί να αναχθεί σε ένα σύνολο λόγων και διαλόγων, και άρα να θεωρητικοποιηθεί. Στη συνέχεια όμως, προκειμένου αυτοί οι λόγοι και διάλογοι να έχουν πραγματική υπόσταση και να μπορούν να αποτελέσουν γόνιμο πεδίο πραγματικής συνδιαλλαγής, χρειάζεται πάλι να εντοπιστούν μέσα από το συγκεκριμένο και το προκείμενο. Σε επίπεδο περιεχομένου, η εργασία ακολουθεί δύο κατευθύνσεις που συναντώνται εν τέλει σε ένα πλαίσιο φιλοσοφικών αναφορών. Η πρώτη αφορά την περφόρμανς ως έμπρακτη ή ενσώματη φιλοσοφία. Δηλαδή, το πώς το άτομο που διατυπώνει φιλοσοφικό λόγο στηρίζει τα λεγόμενά του με ενσώματες δράσεις και σε μία αντιστροφή, το πώς το άτομο που φτιάχνει ένα έργο περφόρμανς του εκχωρεί περιεχόμενο μέσα από φιλοσοφικούς στοχασμούς αλλά και από τη θέση που παίρνει το ίδιο πάνω στα ζητήματα με τα οποία εμπλέκεται στοχαστικά. Η δεύτερη αφορά την έννοια της τέχνης-για-συγκεκριμένο-τόπο (site specificity). Εδώ γίνεται αναφορά στη θέση της μέσα στην ιστορία της τέχνης και αναδεικνύεται η σύνδεσή της με τις έννοιες της σωματικότητας, της αλληλεξάρτησης και του συγκείμενου. Αναδεικνύεται επίσης η θετικότητα που αρχίζει να συνοδεύει αυτές τις έννοιες, σε αντίθεση με πρότερες που αφορούσαν την αυτονομία και τον αέναο χαρακτήρα του έργου. Στη συνέχεια, οι δύο αυτές κατευθύνσεις εκβάλλουν σε ένα πεδίο φιλοσοφικής συζήτησης που αφορά εννοιοποιήσεις του σώματος, της ύπαρξης και της συνύπαρξης. Στο μέρος αυτό εμπλέκω το Τζούντιθ Μπάτλερ, τον Εμμανουέλ Λεβινάς και τη Σιμόν Βέιλ και συνδιαλέγομαι με τις έννοιες της τρωτότητας, της ευαλωτότητας, της αλληλεξάρτησης, του ηθικού δεσμού και του πρωτείου της ευθύνης υπέρ της ελευθερίας. Τα παραπάνω αποτελούν μία πλαισίωση για τον τρόπο που βιώνεται και προς τα πού κατευθύνεται η δική μου επιθυμία - ως περφόρμερ και ως άτομο - μέσα στη δημιουργία. Επιπλέον, μέσα στο κείμενο υπάρχει σύντομη αναφορά στη site specific performance μου Hand in Space η οποία αποτελεί το πρακτικό μέρος της εργασίας μου και που η αρχειακή της καταγραφή είναι επίσης διαθέσιμη στη βιβλιοθήκη της Σχολής.
dc.description.abstracttranslated	According to the methodological approach of the work, every place, as a physical space as well as a set of experiences, rules, routines, and relationships, can be deduced to a set of discourses and dialogues, and thus theorized. However, in order for these discourses and dialogues to have real substance and to be able to constitute a fertile field for a grounded understanding, they need to be located again within the specific and the present. In terms of content, the work follows two directions that ultimately converge within a framework of philosophical references. The first concerns performance as engaged-with-praxis or embodied philosophy. That is, how the individual articulating philosophical discourse supports their statements with embodied actions and, conversely, how the individual creating a performance work infuses it with content through philosophical reflections as well as from its own position on the issues which are arisen. The second concerns the concept of site-specific art. Here, reference is made to its place in the history of art and its connection to the concepts of embodiment, interdependence, and contextuality. The positivity that begins to accompany these concepts is also highlighted, in contrast to earlier ones that concerned the autonomy and the perpetual character of the work. Subsequently, these two directions lead to a field of philosophical discussion concerning conceptualizations of the body, existence, and coexistence. In this part, I engage Judith Butler, Emmanuel Levinas, and Simone Weil and I discuss the concepts of vulnerability, precarity, interdependence, ethical bonds, and the primacy of responsibility for freedom. The above provides a framework for how my own desire - as a performer and as an individual - is experienced and directed within creation. Furthermore, within the text, there is a brief reference to my site-specific performance Hand in Space, which constitutes the practical part of my work and whose archival documentation is also available in the University's library.	en
