| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία εξετάζει τη διαδικασία του εξευγενισμού (gentrification) στην Αθήνα, εστιάζοντας στις κοινωνικές, πολιτιστικές και οικονομικές του προεκτάσεις. Με έμφαση στην περιοχή του Μεταξουργείου, η έρευνα διερευνά τη σχέση μεταξύ της τέχνης και του φαινομένου του εξευγενισμού, αναδεικνύοντας τον ρόλο των καλλιτεχνικών παρεμβάσεων και των πολιτιστικών πρωτοβουλιών στην αλλαγή του αστικού τοπίου. Μέσα από ιστορική ανάλυση, μελέτες περιπτώσεων και θεωρητικά μοντέλα, αναδεικνύεται η δυναμική που αναπτύσσεται μεταξύ πολιτιστικής παραγωγής, κοινωνικής αλλαγής και οικονομικής κερδοφορίας. Οι καλλιτεχνικές εκδηλώσεις, όπως το ReMap, η Athens Biennale και η Documenta 14, καθώς και η επίδραση του Airbnb και της τουριστικοποίησης, εξετάζονται ως παράγοντες που επηρεάζουν τη σύνθεση της γειτονιάς και οδηγούν στην εκτόπιση των παλαιών κατοίκων. Τέλος, η εργασία αναδεικνύει τις αντιστάσεις των τοπικών κοινοτήτων και τονίζει την ανάγκη για μια πιο δίκαιη και βιώσιμη αστική ανάπτυξη. | |

Through historical analysis, case studies, and theoretical models, the study reveals the dynamics between cultural production, social change, and economic profitability.
