| dc.description.abstract | Η εργασία με τίτλο ¨Τα Έντεκα Εωθινά¨, αντλεί τη θεματολογία της από τη θεματική των 11 Εωθινών Ευαγγελίων, δηλαδή 11 διηγήσεων της Καινής Διαθήκης που αφορούν όλες σε γεγονότα της ζωής του Χριστού μετά την Ανάστασή Του. Με γνώμονα τις συγκεκριμένες διηγήσεις, δημιουργώ νέες εικαστικές συνθέσεις. Σύμφωνα με το Εκκλησιαστικό Τυπικό, κάθε Κυριακή (ανά 11 Κυριακές) είναι αφιερωμένη σε μία από τις 11 αυτές διηγήσεις. Η Υμνολογία της Εκκλησίας προσαρμόζεται σε αυτό το πρότυπο, με αποτέλεσμα ορισμένα από τα τροπάρια της ακολουθίας της ημέρας να αντλούν το περιεχόμενο τους από το Εωθινό Ευαγγέλιο στο οποίο αντιστοιχεί η εκάστοτε Κυριακή. Η συγκεκριμένη σύνδεση ανάμεσα στις ευαγγελικές διηγήσεις, την Υμνολογία και τις εικαστικές αποδόσεις των Εωθινών αποτελεί βασικό στοιχείο της εργασίας, αφού ως στόχο έχει να αναδείξει την σχέση της Ιερής Τέχνης της Εικονογραφίας με τη μυστηριακή ζωή της Εκκλησίας. Επίσης επισημαίνεται η σύνδεση των γεγονότων του Πάθους και της Ανάστασης με τις σχετικές αναφορές και προεικονίσεις που ενυπάρχουν στην Παλαιά Διαθήκη. Διαφαίνεται έτσι καθαρά η ακολουθία των γεγονότων μεταξύ Παλαιάς και Καινής Διαθήκης, τα οποία συνθέτουν την ίδια Ιστορία και αποτελούν μέρη του ίδιου σωτηριολογικού Σχεδίου. Η εικαστική γλώσσα που διαπραγματεύομαι στα ¨Έντεκα Εωθινά¨ έχει την αναφορά της στη βυζαντινή εικαστική παράδοση, από την οποία αντλείται. Συγχρόνως όμως μορφοποιείται μέσα από την αλληλεπίδραση των απότοκων της επαφής μου με αυτή την παράδοση, με όσα προσωπικά εικαστικά στοιχεία φέρω μέσα μου ως σήμερα. | |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | The ¨Eleven Eothines¨ thesis derives its theme from the contents of the 11 Eothine Gospels, that is 11 stories included in the New Testament. What these stories have in common is that they are all related to events of Christ’s life after His Resurrection. In my work I create new visual compositions about these events based on the original stories of the Bible. According to the Ritual of the Orthodox Church, each Sunday is dedicated to one of these 11 stories. The Hymnology of the Church conforms to this pattern, having some hymns of the Services extracting their content from the Eothine Gospel to which each Sunday corresponds. This specific connection between the Gospel narratives, the Hymnology and the visual renderings of the Eothines is a key factor in my thesis. By that I try to emphasize that the Sacred Art of Iconography and the sacramental life of the Church are related. The connection between the events of the Holy Passion and the Resurrection with the relevant references included in the Old Testament is also highlighted. Thereby it becomes apparent that there is a sequence of events in the Holy Bible, and these events are parts of the same Story - the same Soteriological Plan. The visual language of the ¨Eleven Eothines¨ has its reference to the Byzantine Visual Tradition, from which it is drawn. At the same time, however, it’s a combination of what I discovered studying this Tradition with every new visual element I carry within me to this day. | en |
