dc.description.abstract	Το «Βαγόνι» είναι μια προσπάθεια να παρατηρήσω τη σύγχρονη καθημερινότητα και τη θέση του ανθρώπου μέσα σε αυτή. Ζούμε σε μια κοινωνία που κινείται διαρκώς, όπου όλοι φαίνεται να κυνηγούν κάτι: στόχους, επιτυχία, ασφάλεια, αναγνώριση. Μέσα σε αυτή τη συνεχή κίνηση συχνά ξεχνάμε να σταματήσουμε και να αναρωτηθούμε γιατί ακολουθούμε αυτή τη διαδρομή και αν οι επιθυμίες που κυνηγάμε είναι πραγματικά δικές μας. Οι μορφές του έργου βρίσκονται σε μια κατάσταση αναμονής και επανάληψης. Περιμένουν, μετακινούνται, συνυπάρχουν, αλλά ταυτόχρονα μοιάζουν απομονωμένες. Η επαναλαμβανόμενη χρήση της γραμμής λειτουργεί σαν μια εμμονική διαδικασία που θυμίζει τους κύκλους της καθημερινής ζωής, τις συνήθειες και τις διαδρομές που ακολουθούμε ξανά και ξανά. Το έργο δεν προσπαθεί να δώσει απαντήσεις ούτε να κατηγορήσει κάποιον συγκεκριμένα. Αντιθέτως, θέτει ερωτήματα γύρω από την ελευθερία, την ανασφάλεια, την αποξένωση και τη συλλογική συμμετοχή μας σε έναν τρόπο ζωής που συχνά θεωρούμε δεδομένο. Το βαγόνι λειτουργεί ως σύμβολο μιας κοινής πορείας, όπου οι άνθρωποι βρίσκονται μαζί στον ίδιο χώρο, αλλά όχι πάντα πραγματικά κοντά ο ένας στον άλλον.
dc.description.abstracttranslated	The Wagon explores the experience of waiting as a collective condition of contemporary life. The work focuses on people who share the same space yet remain emotionally distant, moving through routines that often feel repetitive and automatic. The train wagon becomes a symbol of a society in constant motion, where individuals travel together but rarely connect in a meaningful way. Through large-scale charcoal drawings, the project examines the tension between presence and absence, communication and silence. The figures appear both connected and isolated, acting as transmitters and receivers within a shared environment. They exchange signals through their presence, gestures, and proximity, while remaining enclosed within their own thoughts and personal realities. Rather than depicting a specific moment or destination, the work reflects on a broader social experience: the feeling of moving forward without always questioning where we are going. The wagon becomes a temporary space where individual stories coexist, revealing a collective state shaped by routine, anticipation, and the search for connection. The project invites viewers to observe these relationships and consider their own position within the networks of everyday life that unite us while simultaneously keeping us apart.	en
