| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα μεταπτυχιακή εργασία διερευνά τη σχέση της τέχνης με τη φύση, εστιάζοντας στο τοπίο ως αισθητικό, πολιτισμικό και θεωρητικό αντικείμενο. Εξετάζει τις διαδικασίες μέσα από τις οποίες το τοπίο έχει μετασχηματιστεί ιστορικά, από μια μιμητική αναπαράσταση της φύσης σε μια έννοια που εμπλέκεται σε πολιτικές, οικολογικές και αισθητικές συζητήσεις. Συγκεκριμένα, διερευνά πώς η ιστορία της τέχνης έχει διαμορφώσει την έννοια, ξεκινώντας από τις πρώτες εικόνες της φύσης, τη βυζαντινή ζωγραφική και την τοπιογραφία στη νεωτερικότητα, φτάνοντας στις σύγχρονες οικολογικές και επιμελητικές πρακτικές. Παράλληλα, αντλεί στοιχεία από τη φιλοσοφία και την σύγχρονη αισθητική θεωρία προκειμένου να επαναξιολογήσει την καλλιτεχνική προσέγγιση του τοπίου πέρα από ανθρωποκεντρικά πρότυπα. Το κείμενο προτείνει τη θέση ότι το τοπίο δεν αποτελεί ουδέτερη εικαστική αναπαράσταση, αλλά μία πολιτισμική κατασκευή που αντανακλά ορισμένες ιστορικές και κοινωνικές μετατοπίσεις. Με βάση αυτή την υπόθεση, η εργασία επιχειρεί να επαναπροσδιορίσει την έννοια του τοπίου, εξετάζοντας τρόπους με τους οποίους η ζωγραφική , με τη δημιουργία εικόνων, μπορεί να συμβάλει σε μια βιωματική και λιγότερο ανθρωποκεντρική προσέγγιση της φύσης. | |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | This master's thesis explores the relationship between art and nature, focusing on the landscape as an aesthetic, cultural, and theoretical subject. It examines how the concept of landscape has historically evolved - from a mimetic representation of nature to an idea engaged in political, ecological, and aesthetic discussions. Specifically, it investigates how art history has shaped this concept, beginning with early depictions of nature, Byzantine painting, and landscape painting in modern age, leading up to contemporary ecological and curatorial practices. At the same time, it draws on philosophy and contemporary aesthetic theory to reassess the artistic approach to landscape beyond anthropocentric models. The text argues that the landscape is not a neutral visual representation but a cultural construct that reflects specific historical and social shifts. Based on this premise, the study seeks to redefine the concept of landscape by exploring how painting, through image-making, can contribute to a more experiential and less anthropocentric approach to nature. | en |
