Abstract
Στη δουλειά μου αυτή αναζήτησα τις έννοιες της σταθερότητας και της αστάθειας ως μεταφορές της διττής φύσης του ανθρώπου που δεν είναι μόνο φως ή σκοτάδι αλλά η σύγκρουση και ταυτόχρονα η τέλεια ισορροπία αυτών των δύο. Αυτές οι κατασκευές προέκυψαν αφενός από την αγάπη μου για τις κτηριακές δομές, και αφετέρου βιωματικά, υποσυνείδητα, νιώθοντας την σκοτεινή εποχή της πανδημίας, τον εγκλεισμό και τον περιορισμό της έκφρασης του ανθρώπινου πνεύματος. Στην παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία χρησιμοποίησα ξύλο MDF πάχους τριών χιλιοστών, για την κατασκευή όλων των γεωμετρικών στερεών κομματιών. Οι επιφάνειες είναι χρωματισμένες με πλαστικό χρώμα, με την χρήση πινέλου. Για τα επιτοίχια κολάζ, χρησιμοποίησα χαρτί κομμένο και χρωματισμένο με μαύρο πλαστικό χρώμα, κολλημένο πάνω σε χαρτόνι.
Abstract in english
In this work, I explored the concepts of stability and instability as metaphors for the dual nature of humanity—which is not merely light or darkness, but the conflict and, simultaneously, the perfect balance between the two. These constructions emerged, on one hand, from my love for architectural structures and, on the other, from an experiential, subconscious reaction to the dark era of the
pandemic, the lockdown, and the restriction of the human spirit's expression. In this thesis, I used 3mm thick MDF wood to construct all the geometric solid pieces. The surfaces are painted with acrylic (plastic) paint using a brush. For the wall-mounted collages, I used paper that was cut and colored with black acrylic paint, then mounted onto cardboard.

Η Παναγιώτα Γιουγλή είναι εικαστικός, και απόφοιτος του τμήματος γλυπτικής, της Ανωτάτης Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών της Αθήνας. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε έξι ομαδικές εκθέσεις στην Αθήνα , στη Μίνι Μπιενάλε Στερεάς Ελλάδας με τίτλο «Το ίχνος του χρόνου», και στο Διεθνές φεστιβάλ σχεδίου, της Αρλ της Γαλλίας.
