| dc.description.abstract | Σημείο αναφοράς για τη δημιοργία των έργων που εκτίθενται απτελεί η Τέχνη των Αβορίγινων, από τισ αρχαιότερες μορφές τέχνης. Οι Αβορίγινες ( ab origine : "από την αρχή"), οι αυτόχθονες κάτοικοι τησ Αυστραλίας αποτελούν τον αρχαιότερο πολιτισμό στη Γη .Η σειρά των έργων δανείζεται τον τίτλο της από τον εμβληματικό ερυθρόχρωμο μονόλιθο "Uluru". Το έργο που παρουσιάζω αποτελείται από διακριτές ενότητες. Στην πρώτη ενότητα επιλέγω να αποτυπώσω μαλλιά. Η επιλογή να απεικονίσω μαλλιά στο έργο μου αναφέρεται στην κατάρριψη της θεωρίας πως οι «αρχαιότεροι» άνθρωποι έποικοι εκτός της Αφρικής είναι οι Ευρωπαίοι καθώς και στο ενδιαφέρον μου για τους ποικίλους συμβολισμούς και δοξασίες της αρχαιότητας με τους οποίους συνδέεται η απεικόνιση μαλλιών .Για τη δημιουργία των έργων που αποτελούν τη δεύτερη ενότητα, παρακινήθηκα από τα γεωλογικά χαρακτηριστικά του βράχου. Υιοθετώ την τεχνική του κεντήματος, την παλαιότερη τέχνη των γυναικών, ως καλλιτεχνική έκφραση και διαλογιστική διαδικασία. Μεταχειρίζομαι πυκνές και άναρχες βελονιές πάνω σε ύφασμα ώστε να προκύπτουν άμορφα και ανάγλυφα σχήματα, συμπαγή αποτυπώμτα που δημιουργήθηκαν με μία διάθεση αντίστασης στη φθορά του χρόνου. Στην τρίτη ενότητα, εμπνεόμενη από τα χαρακτηριστικά της Αβορίγινης Τέχνης (Aboriginal Art) αλλά και τα ιδεώδη του λαού της, εργάζομαι ακολουθώντας μία ελεύθερη χειρονομιακή διαδικασία έκφρασης που έχει ως αποτέλεσμα να μην αποκαλύπτονται συγκεκριμένες γνώριμες εικόνες, αλλά τυχαίες οργανικές φόρμες. | |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | The creative reference point for the works on display is Aboriginal art, one of the most ancient art forms. The Aborigines (ab origine: ‘from the beginning’), the indigenous inhabitants of Australia, constitute the oldest civilization on Earth. The series of works takes its title from the iconic red-hued monolith ‘Uluru. The work I present consists of distinctly different sections. In the first section, I chose to use hair as a central motif. The choice to use hair in my work references the refutation of the theory that the earliest settlers outside of Africa were Europeans, and reflects my interest in the varied ancient symbolism and beliefs with which the representation of hair is associated. To create the works that make up the second section, I was motivated by the geological characteristics of the rock. I have adopted embroidery, the most ancient of women’s arts, both as a form of creative expression and a meditative process. I use dense and anarchic stitching on fabric to create amorphous and textured forms; dense, tactile impressions created to demonstrate resistance to the destructive passage of time.The third section draws inspiration from the characteristics of Aboriginal Art and the ideals of its people. I work through a free, gestural process of expression that does not reveal familiar, recognisable images, but rather gives rise to spontaneous, organic forms. | en |

Φοίτησε στο Εικαστικό Τμήμα της Ανωτάτης Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών από το 2019 έως το 2025, στο Β’ Εργαστήριο Ζωγραφικής με δάσκαλο τον Γ.Χαρβαλιά και στο Θ΄ Εργαστήριο Ζωγραφικής με δάσκαλο τον Ν.Αρβανίτη. Επίσης συμμετείχε για τρια χρόνια στο Εργαστήριο Φωτογραφίας της σχολής με καθηγητές τον Π.Κοκκινια και Α. Βούτσα. | |
