dc.description.abstract	Η εργασία αποπειράται να προσεγγίσει την έννοια του ανοίκειου μέσα από εικαστικές πρακτικές και παραδείγματα, αναζητώντας την ανταπόκριση της έννοιας στον χώρο. Ξεκινάει με την γλωσσολογική ανάλυση και παρουσίαση του όρου όπως τον έθεσε ο Sigmund Freud, καθώς και το λογοτεχνικό παράδειγμα που παρουσίασε ο ίδιος για την περεταίρω κατανόηση του. Έπειτα προσεγγίζεται μέσα από κινηματογραφικά παραδείγματα και χειρισμούς που έχουν εφαρμοστεί, ώστε να αποδοθεί αυτή η ιδιάζουσα ατμόσφαιρα. Συνδετικά στοιχεία, για να καταλήξει στο πόρισμά της αυτή η εργασία, τίθεται η το κίνημα του υπερρεαλισμού, ως μια περίοδος που έστρεψε τους καλλιτέχνες στην προσέγγιση του αλλόκοτου και το έργο του Maurits Cornelis Escher που με την παραμόρφωση της ευκλείδειας γεωμετρίας δημιουργεί χώρους στερημένους από τους φυσικούς κανόνες που έχουμε συνηθίσει. Τέλος η εργασία μελετά ιστορικά την φαινομενολογική έννοια του τόπου, ώστε να εντοπίσει τα στοιχεία εκείνα που χαρακτηρίζουν έναν χώρο ως οικείο και αν η έλλειψή τους είναι η βάση του ασυναίσθητος του ανοίκειου στον χώρο.
dc.description.abstracttranslated	This paper attempts to approach the concept of uncanny through visual practices and examples, looking for the concept's response to the space. It begins with the linguistic analysis and presentation of the term as it was coined by Sigmund Freud, as well as the literary example he presented for its further understanding. It is then approached through cinematic examples and manipulations that have been applied to convey this particular atmosphere. The connecting elements, to arrive at its conclusion this paper, is the movement of surrealism, as a period that directed artists to approach the otherworldly, and the work of Maurits Cornelis Escher, who with the distortion of Euclidean geometry created spaces devoid of natural rules we are used to. Finally, the paper studies historically the phenomenological concept of place, in order to identify those elements that characterize a space as familiar and if their lack is the basis of the unconscious uncanniness in space.	en
