Abstract
Μέσα από ένα ταξίδι εμπνευσμένο εν μέρει από το «Ζεν και η Τέχνη της Συντήρησης Μοτοσυκλέτας» του Ρ. Πίρσιγκ που ξεκινάει από ένα παραδοσιακό οικισμό και καταλήγει στο κέντρο της Αθήνας, σας ξεναγώ σε μια σειρά από σκέψεις που επιχειρηματολογούν για το πως η λειτουργίες των πραγμάτων, η ψυχολογία μας, το περιβάλλον και ο καπιταλισμός είναι ένα αλληλοεπηρεαζόμενο σύμπλεγμα που μας οδηγεί σε συγκεκριμένα μονοπάτια με προορισμό ένα θολό αλλά διόλου αισιόδοξο μέρος. Στο περιθώριο της ιστορίας αυτής θα βρείτε ένα πιο τεχνικό κείμενο που αρπάζει κάποια από τα παρακλάδια αυτής της ιστορίας και επεκτείνεται με αναφορές και δεδομένα από το hive mind που είναι σήμερα ο παγκόσμιος ιστός.
Abstract in english
In this text inspired in part from R. Pirsig’s «Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance». I’m taking you through a journey from a traditional village to the center of Athens and introduce you to a series of thoughts that argue that the working principles of everything we use, aesthetics, the state of our psyche, the environment and capitalism are a tangled spaghetti that leads to a certain path, one with a foggy and hardly happy place. On the side you will find a less literary text that expands on some of the themes touched by the thought process of our protagonist using references and data from the hive mind that is the modern web.
