| dc.description.abstract | Η μελέτη αναλύει τη σκέψη του Χέρμπερτ Μαρκούζε σχετικά με τη χειραφετική δυναμική της τέχνης, δίνοντας έμφαση στη διττή της φύση, καθώς το έργο τέχνης ταυτόχρονα επιβεβαιώνει αλλά και αρνείται την κατεστημένη πραγματικότητα. Ο Μαρκούζε υποστηρίζει ότι η ριζοσπαστικότητα της τέχνης δεν εντοπίζεται κυρίως στο περιεχόμενό της, αλλά στην αισθητική της μορφή, η οποία λειτουργεί ως «καλλιτεχνικό a priori». Μέσα από αυτή τη μορφή, η καθημερινή εμπειρία μετασχηματίζεται και συγκροτείται μια αυτόνομη πραγματικότητα, ικανή να αμφισβητήσει τις κυρίαρχες αντιλήψεις περί αλήθειας και λογικής. Παράλληλα, όμως, η τέχνη βρίσκεται αντιμέτωπη με τον κίνδυνο της αφομοίωσης στο καπιταλιστικό σύστημα, όπου ακόμη και τα πιο ριζοσπαστικά έργα μετατρέπονται σε εμπορεύματα, γεγονός που αποδυναμώνει την κριτική και χειραφετική τους δυναμική. | |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | The study analyzes the thought of Herbert Marcuse regarding the emancipatory potential of art, emphasizing its dual nature, as the artwork simultaneously affirms and negates established reality. Marcuse argues that the radical character of art lies not primarily in its content, but in its aesthetic form, which functions as an “artistic a priori.” Through this form, everyday experience is transformed and an autonomous reality is constituted, capable of challenging dominant notions of truth and rationality. At the same time, however, art faces the risk of assimilation within the capitalist system, where even the most radical works are turned into commodities, thereby weakening their critical and emancipatory force. | en |
