| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία, εξετάζει την επίδραση του Άγιου Όρους, στη ζωγραφική του Σπύρου Παπαλουκά (1892-1957). Εστιάζει στο ταξίδι του, στον Άθω, που απεικονίζει τα αγιορείτικα τοπία, αλλά και αντιγράφει εικόνες των ιερών κειμηλίων, εκθέτοντας την επίδραση που δέχθηκε από τη βυζαντινή ζωγραφική, με αποτέλεσμα την ανανέωση της εκκλησιαστικής τέχνης. Παρουσιάζεται το έργο του με τους αρσανάδες του Άθως, επανέρχοντας στο ίδιο θέμα συνεχώς εξελίσσοντας την καλλιτεχνική του έκφραση. Αναλύεται, η πρώτη απεικόνιση της σκήτης του Άγιου Αντρέα το 1924, ακολουθώντας οι παραλλαγές του έργου που αποδίδονται τελείως διαφορετικά στοιχεία. Εφαρμόζει τα αντίγραφα εικόνων των ιερών κειμηλίων ως πρότυπο στην αγιογράφηση του Μητροπολιτικού ναού της Άμφισσας, δημιουργώντας μνημειακό έργο. Αντιπαραβάλλεται η τοιχογραφία με την παράσταση της Αποκαθήλωσης του Χριστού στην Ευαγγελίστρια, με το αντίγραφο της αντίστοιχης παράστασης που παρήγαγε στον Άθω. Αναφέρεται η τεχνική των ανθιβόλων για την κατασκευή του εκκλησιαστικού διακόσμου. Επιπλέον εφάρμοσε νέες τεχνικές, όπως οι αρμονικές χαράξεις και η στιγμογραφία. Θα εξελίσσει τη βυζαντινή τέχνη, μεταφέροντας στοιχεία και στα κοσμικά του έργα. | |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | This thesis examines the impact of Mount Athos on the painting of Spyros. Papaloukas (1892-1957). He travels to Mount Athos, portraying Athonite landscapes, while also copying sacred relics, demonstrating the influenced of Byzantine art in his painting, resulting the renewal of ecclesiastical art. His representations of the Athos arsanas are examined, highlighting his revisitation of the same subject while continually evolving his artistic expression, altering his painterly techniques in each piece. The analysis further considers the first depiction of the Skete of Saint Andrew in 1924, followed by subsequent variations of the work, each presenting completely different elements. He shall use copies of sacred relics as models in the iconography of the Metropolitan Church of Amfissa, creating monumental work. A comparison is drawn between the church’s iconographies and the copies he produced on Athos. The thesis also discusses the preliminary drawings technique he applied in church decoration. He also introduces new techniques, such as harmonious incisions and stigmography. He evolves Byzantine art further, transferring its features into his secular compositions. | en |
