| dc.description.abstract | Η έκθεση “Mandy Starrr Games” περιέχει 7 πίνακες από πλαστελίνες που συνδυάζουν τη ζωγραφική με τη γλυπτική και πολλά ενυδρεία-δωματιάκια miniatures. Η θεματολογία τους βασίζεται στο πώς έχει βιώσει η ελληνική gen-z την παγκοσμιοποίηση (κυρίως από female perspective). Με αισθητική από παλιά γνωστά παγκοσμίως παιχνίδια που παίζαμε με τα αδέλφια μας στο τάμπλετ και αναμνήσεις που προμήνυαν το μέλλον της καθημερινότητας της ενήλικης πλέον ζωής των παιδιών που γεννήθηκαν στην αλλαγή της χιλιετίας-παιδιών που θα άλλαζαν τον κόσμο, με την κύρια ηρωίδα μας, την Mandy Starrr, να μπαίνει σε αυτά τα παιχνίδια και να μας μεταφέρει σε έναν κόσμο όπου το παρελθόν και το μέλλον είναι το ίδιο και το αυτό. Η Mandy Starrr είναι η ελληνική μασκότ η οποία μας κρατάει συντροφιά, αποτελεί πηγή καθοδήγησης από την παιδική μας ηλικία, βοηθώντας με την εφευρετικότητά της τη γενιά gen-z να ξεπεράσει τις δυσκολίες και να δώσει λύσεις σε modern world προβλήματα της πιο αγχώδους χώρας της Ευρώπης. | |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | The exhibition “Mandy Starrr Games” features 7 artworks made from plasticine that combines painting and sculpturing , as well as many aquarium-miniature like rooms. Their theme is based on how Greek Gen Z has experienced globalization (mainly from a female perspective). With an aesthetic drawn from old globally known games we used to play with our siblings on tablets and memories that foreshadowed the future of the adult daily life of children born in the beginning of new millennium—children destined to change the world—our main heroine, Mandy Starrr, enters these games and transports us to a world where the past and the future are one and the same. Mandy Starrr is the Greek mascot who has kept us company, serving as a guiding figure from our childhood, helping Gen Z with her resourcefulness to overcome challenges and offer solutions to modern world problems in the most anxious country in Europe. | en |
