| dc.description.abstract | Η παρακάτω πτυχιακή εργασία καταπιάνεται με την τέχνη του κλασσικού χορού. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, αφορά το δεύτερο μισό του 19ου αιώνα και τις αρχές του 20ου και το πώς η ίδια κατέληξε να αποτελεί τόσο μεγάλο κομμάτι της πολιτισμικής κουλτούρας της Ρωσίας. Ξεκινώντας με μία μικρή ιστορική αναδρομή, αναφέρονται η γέννηση και η εξέλιξη του στην Γαλλία και την Ιταλία τους προηγούμενους αιώνες, και πως το μπαλέτο αυτών των δύο χορών ήρθε σε επαφή και επηρέασε την Ρωσία Επιπλέον, γίνεται αναφορά στο κίνημα του ρομαντισμού, καθώς το ίδιο διαμόρφωσε σε μεγάλο βαθμό τα πρότυπα θηλυκότητας στον κλασσικό χορό. Μέσα από το ρομαντικό κίνημα δημιουργήθηκαν τα πιο διάσημα έργα του κλασσικού ρεπερτορίου, τα οποία οδήγησαν σε μία περίοδο μεγάλης άνθισης του μπαλέτου στην Ρωσία, στα τέλη του 19ου αιώνα. Η πτυχιακή εργασία επικεντρώνεται στα πρόσωπα των Marius Petipa και Agrippina Vaganova, καθώς και οι δύο έδρασαν στην Ρωσία και επηρέασαν σε πολύ μεγάλο βαθμό τη μορφή του μπαλέτου όπως την γνωρίζουμε σήμερα. Ο Marius Petipa, premier ballet master του κρατικού μπαλέτου της Αγίας Πετρούπολης, έχει μείνει γνωστός κυρίως μέσα από την δημιουργία πληθώρας έργων τα οποία αναπαράγονται μέχρι και σήμερα. Η Agrippina Vaganova δημιούργησε και δημοσίευσε την δική της παιδαγωγική μέθοδο, την οποία το σοβιετικό καθεστώς εκμεταλλεύτηκε και προώθησε προκειμένου να καταστήσει το μπαλέτο πολιτισμικό εθνικό σύμβολο της σοσιαλιστικής Ρωσίας. | |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | The following graduate thesis is about the art of classical dance. More specifically, it refers to the second half of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century and how it managed to be a substantial part of the Russian culture. Starting with a short historical review, the essay talks about the birth and evolution of the art in France and Italy and furthermore how the ballet culture of these two countries met and affected Russia. Moreover, it talks about the Romantic Movement, since it significantly shaped the feminine beauty standards. Through the Romantic Movement the most famous works of classical repertoire were created, which led to a period of vast progress of classical ballet in Russia, at the end of the 19th century. The graduate thesis focuses on Marius Petipa and Agrippina Vaganova, since both of them acted in Russia and affected on a big scale the shape of ballet as we are familiar with today. Marius Petipa, premier ballet master of the state theater of Saint Petersburg, mostly known for an abundance of classical ballet works which he choreographed and that are still reproduced today. Agrippina Vaganova created and published her own pedagogical method, which the Soviet Union used and promoted in order to establish ballet as a national cultural symbol of the soviet Russia. | en |
