| dc.description.abstract | Μεταφέροντας ορυκτά από το τοπίο και κατασκευάζοντας αρχαϊκές κατασκευές όπως ένας βυζαντινός τρούλος, μια τοιχοποιία από την Μεσοποταμία, τσόχινες φόρμες από νομαδικές φυλές της Ανατολής, αντικείμενα τα οποία έχουν μέσα τους την ανθρώπινη χειρωναξία και σοφία και ορυκτά που εμπεριέχουν από μόνα τους μνήμη, μετατρέπω τον χώρο τον οποίο δουλεύω σε ένα κοινό τόπο συνύπαρξης και μνήμης ανθρώπων και γήινων υλικών. Συνθέτοντας και πλάθοντας τα διαφορετικά υλικά μεταξύ τους μετατρέπονται σε μαγικά αντικείμενα που εμπεριέχουν γνώση, πολλαπλές χρονικότητες, πλαστικότητες, πιθανό παρελθόν και μυστήριο, ανοίγουν πόρτες πέρα από μια γραμμικότητα αφήγησης και τοποθετούν προβληματισμούς για το παρόν και το μέλλον. | |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | Transferring minerals from the landscape and constructing archaic structures such as a Byzantine dome, a masonry from Mesopotamia, felt forms from nomadic tribes of the East, objects that have human manual dexterity and wisdom in them and minerals that contain memory in themselves, I transform the space I work in into a common place of coexistence and memory of people and earthly materials. By composing and moulding the different materials together they become magical objects that contain knowledge, multiple temporalities, plasticities, possible pasts and mystery, opening doors beyond a linear narrative and placing reflections on the present and future. | en |
