| dc.description.abstract | Οι ψηφιακές τέχνες διαθέτουν έναν νέο τρόπο ερμηνείας του κόσμου, και μέσα από τον τρισδιάστατο χώρο που δημιουργούν, μπορεί κανείς να εκφράσει μια πληθώρα ιδεών και επανερμηνειών. Με αυτήν τη συλλογή, στόχευσα να εξερευνήσω την απουσία ως κεντρικό άξονα. Από τη μία, αξιοποιώντας τις κινηματογραφικές δυνατότητες που μου προσφέρουν αυτά τα εργαλεία, παρουσιάζω μία νουάρ-εμπνευσμένη ταινία μικρού μήκους χωρίς πρωταγωνιστή, όπου η διάθεση, η ατμόσφαιρα και το σκηνικό καταλαμβάνουν το επίκεντρο. Από την άλλη, αναδημιουργώ φωτογραφίες εμβληματικών έργων ζωγραφικής από την ιστορία, απογυμνωμένες από τις κεντρικές τους μορφές, μετατοπίζοντας την προσοχή στο περιβάλλον και στις παραμελημένες λεπτομέρειες. Με τον συνδυασμό αυτών των δύο, η συλλογή υποδηλώνει έναν εναλλακτικό τρόπο αλληλεπίδρασης με την τέχνη, καλώντας τον θεατή να μη δει τον ήρωα, αλλά τον κόσμο γύρω του. | |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | The digital arts have a new way of interpreting the world, and through that, and the 3D space they create, one can manifest a plethora of ideas and re-imaginings. With this collection, I aimed to explore absence as the central focus. On one hand, with the use of the cinematic capabilities those tools give me, I present a noir-inspired short film stripped of a protagonist, where mood, atmosphere, and setting take center place. And on the other, I recreate photographs of iconic paintings from history, stripped of their focal characters, shifting the focus back to the environment and overlooked details. With those two combined, this collection of works suggests an alternate way of interacting with art, inviting the viewer not to see the hero, but the world around. | en |
