| dc.description.abstract | Ηχητική εγκατάσταση με τραγούδι (σε σκοτεινό δωμάτιο). Αντικείμενα : πολυθρόνα, κομοδίνο, καθρέφτης, φώτα, ακουστικά κεφαλής, βινύλιο του τραγουδιού. Το έργο είναι μία ηχητική εγκατάσταση με τραγούδι που δημιούργησα εξολοκλήρου, στίχοι, σύνθεση, παραγωγή και φωνή. Η εγκατάσταση δρα ως προέκταση του, ο “κόσμος” του, όπου και ο θεατής μπορεί να βυθιστεί. Βασίστηκα σε ένα στιγμιαίο συναίσθημα και εστίασα σ’ αυτό ώστε ο κορεσμός του να είναι έντονος και χωρίς απολογία για τη ξεκάθαρη στάση του. Αυτό το τραγούδι είναι ζήλια και κτητικότητα. Ενδίδει σε τοξικές συμπεριφορές ως μέσο κατανόησης αυτών των αρνητικών συναισθημάτων, που μπορούν να προκύψουν μέσα μας ή από άλλους προς τα μας, ώστε εν τέλη να υπάρξει κάθαρση μέσω της αποδοχής. Ο θεατής βλέπει είτε τον εαυτό του στο έργο, είτε άλλο άτομο, και το βιώνει ως αρνητικό ή θετικό “μύνημα”, δεν υπάρχει επιβολή ηθικού διδάγματος, παρά μία ευκαιρία αναγνώρισης και αντιμετώπισης στοιχείων μας που τείνουμε να αγνοούμε άθελα μας ή και εσκεμμένα. | |
| dc.description.abstracttranslated | The art piece is a sound installation featuring a song I created entirely, lyrics, composition, production, and vocals. The installation acts as an extension of the song, its “world”, into which the viewer can immerse themselves. I based it on a fleeting emotion and focused on it, so that its saturation is intense and unapologetic in its stance. This song is jealousy and possessiveness. Indulging in toxic behaviours as a means of understanding these negative feelings, that can arise within ourselves or others towards us, to ultimately cleanse them through acceptance.The viewer sees either themselves or another person in the work and experiences it as a negative or positive “message”, there is no imposition of a moral lesson, but rather an opportunity to recognize and confront parts of ours, that we tend to ignore, inadvertently or even deliberately. | en |
